Limited Liability Partnership Status

After 60 years as Kenneth Easby & Co the Partnership became Kenneth Easby LLP on 1 October 2007. LLP status has been adopted by many professional firms as it provides a separate legal identity to is members.

Ken Graham commented "Easbys now have a new platform to develop the business, improve services to clients and reflects a more corporate profile whilst retaining the ethos of a Partnership".

New LLP Members

Congratulations to Kevin Bradley who became a member of the LLP on 1 October 2007. Based at Northallerton office, Kevin deals with audit, accounts and taxation matters and is now looking to further develop his portfolio of clients.

Samantha Rainbow became a member of the Limited Liability Partnership on 1 December 2007. A graduate of Durham University she trained with Coopers and Lybrand as a prize winning student before joining the Phillips Electronics group. Having worked as both financial and management accountant for a group company Sam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience on a range of matters to assist with the development of the practice.

Wedding Bells

Steve Peart Steve Peart surprised us all by secretly marrying his Partner of 13 years, Mandy, recently. A senior member of staff at Darlington Office, Steve has worked for Chris Smithson for many years.

Tomb Raider ?

Laura Anderson took the plunge recently and married Paul Croft to become ..... Mrs Laura Croft. Laura assists Anne Gregg and Robert Dunning with accounts preparation at Bedale Office and has been the subject of some comment since her marriage about her Tomb Raider status!

New Arrival

Wendy Reed from Bedale Office gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Elise Jill, on 25 September, Mother and Baby are doing well.

Exam Results

Congratulations to Jo Richardson at Darlington Office who has passed her finals to become a Chartered Accountant and Sam Gibb from Bedale Office who has qualified as an Accounting Technician.
