Wendy Reed and Helen Peacock (pictured), from Bedale Office, recently attended a tyre dealer client's premises on Tyneside to assist with monthly management accounts preparation.

Little did they know that Continental tyre ambassador, former England and Newcastle United striker Alan Shearer OBE, was due there that day on a goodwill visit.

Professionals to the last, the ladies declined an initial invitation to put down pens and attend a photo session elsewhere on the premises. They eventually relented when Alan visited the offices where they were working.

Christmas Offer

Bedale Office staff again dispensed with the usual Christmas card merry-go-round, instead agreeing to donate the funds saved to charity. In addition the office held a charity bingo session prior to closing for Christmas resulting in a total of £91 being raised to buy safe water, saplings etc.

Curling For Glory

Best wishes go to Andrew Dixon, from Northallerton office, who has previously represented England at curling. Andrew is a member of one of the five teams in the final of the English Curling Champonships to be held in Tunbridge Wells in February.
