Fashion First

Kenneth Easby LLP staff were recently involved, for the first time, in a charity fashion show to raise funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research. Wendy Reed, Faye Chilton and Suzanne Langford were required to buy an outfit for less than £25 from a charity shop and wear it on the catwalk, cheered on by work colleagues who attended the event. Local branch Committee member, Carolyn Chapman, confirmed Yorkshire Cancer Research hoped to raise over £4,000 on the evening. Well done to all who took part in supporting this worthy cause.

The Partners are pleased to congratulate David Gibson, who recently joined a growing band of Kenneth Easby LLP staff who have completed 10 years service with the firm.

Based at Northallerton office, David assists partner Ken Graham in all aspects of tax compliance and advice work.

Captain of a local pool team, David is a keen guitarist and photographer and is currently learning to play the piano and speak Italian. The latter could have something to do with his impending marriage to Alex in Sorrento next summer.

New Arrivals

Laura Croft and Becky Smith from our Bedale office and Becky Oliver from our Darlington office recently gave birth. Laura had a beautiful baby boy, Benjamin William, on 22nd August, Becky Smith had a beautiful baby girl, Abigail Elizabeth, on 18th September and Becky Oliver also had a beautiful baby girl, Sophie Jayne, on 22nd October. All mothers and babies are doing well.
